Cerâmica Santa Terezinha S.A. has been the second largest manufacturer of porcelain electrical insulators in Brazil since 1960, with a monthly porcelain production of 650 metric tons. CST has also been the second largest producer of toughened glass electrical suspension insulators since 1999, with an average output of 100,000 units per month.
CST’s expansive product line supports the needs of virtually all sectors of the electric utility market: generation, transmission, substation and distribution. Our products are used in industrial installations from 1kV up to 138kV, distribution systems up to 40 kV and transmission systems up to 800kV.
CST‘s policy calls for a perpetual exploration of ways to improve and update our individual products as well as expanding our total product offering so that we may continue to meet the ever increasing technical requirements of today’s electric utilities.
